Le site naturel des Quinconces Saint-Brice, à cheval sur les communes d'Arès et d'Andernos, est l'une des dernières grandes coupures vertes sur le littoral du Bassin d'Arcachon.
Depuis plus de vingt ans, l'association pour la sauvegarde du site naturel des Quinconces Saint-Brice s'attache à faire connaître cet espace naturel remarquable par la diversité des paysages qui le composent, mais espace fragile et toujours menacé ; elle mène une large action visant à démontrer l'incompatibilité entre espace naturel et toute construction ou aménagement.
